BlackBoard Learn is a free iPhone app that allows students to access their university accounts from their mobile devices, according to CNET News. The iPhone can also be used to review for exams, says the news source. Cram is another app for the handheld and it allows students to create multiple choice quizzes so they can study on the subway or in the bus without carrying around a heavy textbook. French 101 makes the iPhone bilingual. This app has a flashcard feature that is similar to Cram's quizzes. It's advertised on Apple's website and offers students the possibility to work on their French vocabulary while on the go. Whether pursuing a degree at a traditional university or through an online school, students who have an iPhone could benefit from the applications that are now available for this device.
