Victims of crime often need help addressing the injustices they have experienced. This concentration is ideal if you want to work

  • As an advocate for victims or communities
  • Directly with victims in social services and nonprofit organizations

In this concentration, you will

  • Study how to assess the needs of victims and identify community resources and responses.
  • Analyze contemporary problems and trends in victimology.
  • Explore restorative justice strategies to repair the harm caused by criminal behavior and to return criminals and victims to their communities with strategies for living productive, crime-free lives.
